In 1896 the eminent French logician and professional in the field theory of science Edmond Goble suggested that these discussions are not unfounded for the simple reason that the dream does not exist. Man, when he wakes up, it seems that he remembers the events that he saw during the sleep. It seems quite obvious that in reality this does not happen, then - a dream. However, we cannot exclude the possibility that the imaginary dreams entirely or partially constructed in a short period of waking and early waking. Studying the biochemical processes that are taking place in different parts of the brain shed light on the physiological mechanism of sleep, but add little to understand the nature of dreams. Psychoanalysis is based on the fact that dreams are the completion of the dramatic struggle of passions, which flows into the unconscious. Professionals insist on the sexual nature of most dreams, explaining that each person has a great variety of forbidden desires, driven into the unconscious, and is eager for freedom. But in reality dreams are much more diverse. Dreams cannot do anything to tell not only about the future, but also about past and present. They are unable to reveal the secrets of the unconscious, because it is not a means of communication. Sleeping does not need semantic information - because it was deprived of the possibility of its recycling. Aside from a small number of amusing, but the vague stories of dreams come to remarkable scientific discoveries and ideas do not even hint at what the person is able to solve in a dream, even the simplest task. Depending on the activity of the brain from waking to deep sleep, the electrical signals of millions of neurons have a rhythm, characterized by frequency and amplitude. There are four stages of sleep. With age, the duration of sleep at night is greatly reduced. Up to 70% of people over age 65 complain of insomnia. Some researchers believe that REM sleep is an adaptation mechanism that is compensated due to the brain information flow. So dreams of children are different from adults’ ones: kids all flew in childhood fell into abyss, felt fear and helplessness from time to time while sleeping. Since the child's body adapts to his new information, adults’ reaction is slower to the new information and experience become much smaller, and REM sleep, respectively, is much shorter.
